I think thats pretty obvious in the Sannin fight when she's perfect, Jiraiya's drugged, and Orochimaru's armless. She's a medical ninja not really a fighter. Kabuto was able to dodge her and also not get totally stomped when they fought. She doesn't seem that fast or really skilled in ninjutsu, genjutsu, or taijutsu but can control her chakra better than anybody...Ya know exactly like Sakura. I think it's time she proved herself to actually be a fighter and not just somebody who can amp her strength and heal. Sure Sakura had help but even she's had her fight to shine in. Tsunade's really the only character who hasn't.

The main question is what plot device is going to be used to kill Tobi. You can't hit him and even amaterasu had no effect on him.
I would think that Tsunade would be a perfect match for someone like Pein. IF Pein is controlling those bodies like chakra strings, I wouldn't put it past Kishimoto to justify, somehow, Tsunade's ability to sever those lines with her medical ninjutsu. On the same token, Neji should be well than more enough a match for Pein and his puppet bodies.
What is Pein but a bonified puppet master?
Also, why does Tobi have to die?
He's evil? That and Madara sucks. He's better when he was acting all dumb.
I always thought it was more like one mind controlling a bunch of bodies though not really puppet. Though I could see it suddenly becoming puppets as a way to give Tsunade a chance, and to explain how they can't die. Though in that way Shino should be able to give him a fight better than Tsunade or Neji.

I was thinking mind control as well...but it requires some sort of organic control over the bodies so I figured that Tsunade could approach it from that angle with her medical jutsus.
Damn. You're right. Shino should be able to give anyone a better fight that anyone. It was stupid that Kishimoto wrote into the manga that part where Shino gets nill on Tobi. I can't think of anyway how that would be logical.

Well Shino was the only one who was effecting Madara that he had to actually warp away. That's saying something when Naruto, Yamato, nor Kiba did anything. His clan is one reason why I think the Uchiha would fail horribly if they had attacked Konoha. None of them could warp away as they get their chakra eaten, and putting the user in a genjutsu shouldn't be that big of a deal when the bugs have a mind of their own and wouldn't be put in a genjutsu and probably have the ability to get their user out of genjutsu since they eat the users chakra making it fluctuate and since none of the Uchiha had a MS.

ya know, if Konoha really feared the ultimate MS then they should have thought about it this way;
first they need to kill their best friends, so assuming they are all in the Uchiha clan, that puts their population at half
then they need to take their brother's eyes, so now they're now just a quarter
the Aburame clan and Hyuuga clan could probably still take them on
then again, how powerful is ultimat MS?

it looks more like a retconn to me, especially after the last episode that just came out. it is a MAJOR attack on konoha with the mission being the assassination of tsunade, not the usual filler about chunnin or something.

Does MS even make your chakra grow or does it just give you stronger attacks? I mean Kakashi got strong enough to use the sharingan without having any bad effect but when he used MS the same thing happened when he used the sharingan to much in the Zabuza arc. But Kakashi also doesn't have the blood in him nor both eyes so he may not get the chakra boost if one is given. And Itachi is considered one of the stronger ninja but he was already strong without MS at 13..and he'd just get stronger the more he trained and five years is a long time, and he's never really fought except using MS techniques except briefly when he toyed with Kakashi.

So have you watched the fillers? Do you know how Ino-Shika-Cho does against those brothers during the Mizuki filler episode? I was watching the start of it cause I'm babysitting a friends kid, and had to stop watching because the kid began bugging me.
the sora ark is a much better filler (if it really isone, imo it's a retconn) than the naruto fillers by far, jonin and anbu root are on screen a lot so it's got more action.
