What happens to Persephone?

When Persephone helped Neo, Morpheus and Trinity to free the Keymaker, why doen't Merovingian punish her, because he was betrayed? When I saw Revolution nothing happens to her.

maybe bcoz they r progs....what i mean is the mero adn persephone r mainly interested in lusty pleasures and as they r programmed in this particular way they dont have much space left for emotions such as sadness,guilt or other similar stuff....so what they do is get on with their life(oops programming@@@@)

I think AliasNeo15 is on to something. Obviously The Merovingian and co. has survived countless reloadings of the Matrix – no problem.
The entire “Path of the One” is just another system of control. It’s nicely mythical. Oracle tells Neo to go the Mero, who has The Keymaker, who can make the ONE key, so Neo can return to… - The Source –
So Neo has to fight to get to the end of the path. That’s consistent with most fairy tales and myths know to (wo)man.

Why else would the system send agents after Neo, if not to make him believe he fights the system?
