I've been a moderator on a forum before. I buy special edition movies a lot and discuss them A LOT, but I don't read at all unless its about sports or movies.

hrm....i could watch over and over with a movie with a kind of mystery thing, where you notcie stuff you didn't first time that's important to the plot,......like "the usual suspects" for instance

I think I'm a low level geek with aspirations of obsessiveness. My broadranging geekiness prevents me from putting any one genre under the microscope.

I like your terms just fine. Its about time people stopped thinking of the labels geek, nerd, etc. as negatives. Those are compliments if you ask me. Why would you be insulted at being called "too smart, and interested in all that sci-fi crap", as thats what being called geek/nerd inplies? I use those words as terms of affection.

Im between obsessive and freak....i read Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk, i watched films numerous times, i know obscure facts, i complain about the scene in the bar, because it didnt happen in a book....etc, etc...
