Structure of words, well, for Quenya he used things like far too many cases (finnish has I think 15) instead of prepositions which produces very long but few words...
... and he created several languages before lotr, like Nevbosh, but as far as I know none of them is closely based on finnish... Quenya is related to finnish, but not closely based on it.
