look up tom bombadil on the kmc search thing and there is a LONG post about how he is witchy 😄

witchy went to isengard in the book...but saruman sent him away...he has an attitude problem..so in treebeard form he picked up two 'orcs' instead of instantly killing them 😄 he found out they were hobbit but let the hobbits live 😄 as an excuse to destroy isengard 😄

and as for the mothy thing i have no idea lol 😄
