i don't know any elvish ... exa what is " HI" and "goodbye" in Sindarian .... everytime i like go on coucil of elrond and other sites .I get all confused

There are of course different words for this

you could perhaps say "alae" (or high elvish "aiya"😉 for "hi", or the common on - "mae govannen". maybe also "suilaid" - "greetings".
Goodbye, hm, for example "na adírad" (something like "cu"😉 (or on internet better "na adeithad" 😛 )... or the classic "Namárie"... sindarin form of it would be "Navaer"...

I know that there is no logical reason I should be learning Elvish, but I think it is such a pretty language ( One that I will learn and be able to speak fluently if it kills me )
