Oh, I'm Filipino/Chinese, I think, and adopted, but my adopted dad was born in Mexico and lived there, and his mom, my legal grandmother, is totally uncomfortable speaking English, so my dad made me learn a little. She'll say, "dame su mano," and we'll help her up, and the cool thing is I UNDERSTAND!!!!! YAY!

We have straaaaange Spanish jokes, I'll say, "Dad, dame DINERO!!!" and he'll give me a graham cracker and say it's dinner. Somewhat amusing, but after a while, it's like, "Da-ad! Shut up!" 😛
