Sure X-Files sometimes has the use of a space ship...and you know what...in the series there are only a handful of episodes which show them. You wanna know why ? Cause Chris Carter didn't want his series being labeled as some hokey show about aliens.
His belief is that there is a Government cover up in the existance of Life on other planets...The truth is out there ! One of the greatest tag lines !
