Everybody stared at them with eyes wide open, a Few really drunk guys were moshing, Chelsea got up on the stage, Threw Derek aside and said, "Ok lets give it up for these guys, heh, wooo! uh I just heard we got 3 new kegs, they're in the kitchen" She glared at them, and unplugged the main cord, Katherine went over to Derek, "What a *****!"

Sam walked over, "Hey you guys were great, that last song was extreme, who sings that son-"

He stopped when he caught Katherine giving him an odd look, He quickly looked down.

Derek nearly fell over laughing. When he stopped, he plugged the cord back in and started talking, explaining in some fairly eloquant words that Darth doesn't feel like coming up with, that every penny they spent buying music made corporate music that much stronger... "Good night folks, and don't forget to download music illegally," he said finally before leaving.

The few people that stood there listening had confused looks on their faces.

A guy burst in, "Three new Kegs arrived Bitches!"

The rest of the people ran into the kitchen.

Sam smiled to himself, as he sat on the stage.

Derek glanced back at the confused teenagers in the room with another laugh.

KAtherine looked at the time, it was already 3 am. She yawned.

Derek decided to go home and get some sleep. He grabbed his instrument and started walking back.

Katherine decided to go home too.

((next morning))

Derek skated up to the school, a few minutes late.

Katherine aas already there Her eyes were blotchy and Red, she spotted Derek, "Derek!" She started to cry again.

Derek tried hard not to groan. "What?" he asked in a tired voice.

She stopped crying and stood up from the stairs, "Seth left he didnt even say good-bye, and I'm not crying because of him, I'm crying because i'm so angry, I put up with all his crapt and he just leaves, I didn't even get, a 'thank you KAt' or anything, He is such a bastard!" She said wiping her tears with her pink sweater.

"Uh... Sorry?" Derek said, not knowing what else to say. He'd never liked Seth.

Katherine sniffed, "Its ok, I don't really care, I guess" She shrugged, "*******, So last night was fun.." She said throwing her backpack over her shoulder.

"Yeah, that kicked ass," Derek said.

KAtherine nodded, "Your band was real-" She stopped talking when her eyes trained on the boy standing behind Derek.

Derek noticed Katherine looking at somebody behind him and turned around to find...

Sam stood there, "Uh Derek, you remember the friend you left outside yesterday at the party, Well uh he asked me if he knew you, I told him yes, and uh then he asked me to take him to the airport, and He told me to give you this" Same took an envelope from his pocket, written on the envelope in big black letters was 'KATHERINE', "He said you know what to do it" Sam put his hands in his pockets and walked away slowly.

"Hey, where you going, dude? Come back here," Derek said, handing the envelope to Katherine.

Sam turned and shrugged, He walked back , "Dunno, Homeroom I guess"

Katherine took the envelope, she looked up, "Thank you uh-"

"Sam" He said, "And you must be Katherine,nice to meet you" He said avoiding her eyes.

Katherine smiled and opened the letter.

Sam looked at derek, "so uh you hang out here in the mornings?"
