"So... I still don't see why she thinks you need some ****tard following you around, being your human crutch if anything goes on. Y'know what I've found really helps me when something happens to me, is talking somebody I really hate," Derek said sarcastically.

Allor laughed softly and hugged Derek. "Thanks for understanding." she said sincerely.

"Course. I'm going to go talk to Marria and see if I can convince her not to do this," Derek said before he left, shutting the door behind himself.

He ran downstairs and sat down on the couch.

Marria was sitting in the kitchen talking to Srouh's father. She can be heard giggling.

Srouh looked up from his book. He glanced at Darrien and gave him a small smile before going back to his book. "So?" he asks.

"Uh... can I talk to you... alone?" Derek said to Marria.

Marria nodded. SHe gave Srouh's father a small smile before following Derek into the aandoned dining room. Both doors were closed and blocked out most sound. "Yes?" she asked.

"I realize how little anything I say probably means, but making her talk to that kid isn't right. You don't realize how much she hates him, if anything it'll just make things worse."

"I know, but she needs someone who is educated about the disease to help her. I don't want her to die."

Derek sighed. "You know who's really good at helping people with their medical problems... Doctors."

Marria laughed at Derek. "I'm sorry. Srouh's father is the best doctor I know."

Derek leaned forwards. "If you think that having that arrogant little ****, who she would hate even if he weren't an arrogant little ****, talk to her, is going to help her relax and deal with things, you're crazy. I apologize if I may have offended you by calling your friend's kid a ****. But that's how I feel about this, and you can bet that's what she thinks, too," Derek said, almost whispering.

Marria sighed. "Fine, whatever. I'll have srouh layoff. when she passes out and stops breathing, don't call me."

"No problem. Thanks for your time," Derek said before he turned and left.

Once he was gone, Marria slung aglass centerpiece at the door that was closing behind him.

Derek went back upstairs to Allor's room. "She said she'd tell him not to talk to you, but I don't know, she looked pretty pissed. And I could've sworn she threw something at the door after I left."

allor groaned. "Great. I'm in for a three hour lecture sometime tonight."

"Sounds like fun. Can I come?"

Allor laughed. "I am so lucky to have you for a boyfriend."

Derek grabbed Allor and fell backwards onto the bed, pulling her down on top of him.

Allor blinked. She smiled. "Well." she said kissing him on the lips.
