Allor stirred a little but only slid further under the covers.

Derek decided to go see if there was anything to eat. He left and went wandering off through the seemingly infinite maze of rooms to try to find the kitchen.

Sergei chuckled as he found Derek. "Looking for the kitchen?" he asked.

"Yeah," Derek said, trying not to sound too irritated.

"Then we can go together." he said leading Derek down the hallway. "So did you and Al settling in well?"

Derek nodded. "Yeah," he said, glancing around at whichever part of the house they were in.

"yes i um have you seen a girl named allor" james said to the butler

The butler smiled. "Ah, yes, Lady Allor is here but I think she is asleep. Maybe you can come back later."

Sergei chuckled. "I hate it myself." he said as they entered the kitchen.

"Your house?" Derek asked, not sure what he was referring to.

Sergei nodded. "It's really to big but it's all I have of my parents so I keep it." he sighed.

"Your parents still around?"

Sergei chuckled. "Their incapacitated."

"Incapacitated?" Derek asked, trying not to sound rude. He wasn't sure what Sergei meant, but it struck him as odd that he was laughing at that.

"Shit, uh, no, I meant Incarcerated." Sergei was really embarrassed.

"And that's funny?"

"What for, yes, and it runs in my family so I'm just waiting until it's my turn." Sergei replied.

"What would that be?"

"Um, my mom sexually assualte an officer and my dad, well, extremely long story, but he has life without parole." Sergei sighed.

"Maybe I'm missing something, but I still don't understand how that's funny."

"I think it's funny how history repeats itself." Sergei said walking over to the fridge.
