Cuddle Valley High: Role Play

Jimmy shrugged and took out his comic books. "hey derek when are you out, dont you have like 3 days left?"

"Yeah..." He had mixed feelings... On the one hand, he wanted to be out of jail. On the other, he didn't know how long Allor and Jorgen would be in.

"awesome, me too!, do you want to read this" he put a batman comic book on his lap.

"I don't like comic books," Derek answered.

Jimmy took the comic book and cocked his eyeborw, "you dont know what you're missin out on," he chimed.

"I don't like comic books," Derek repeated. "You ever play D&D?", he asked.

Without taking his eyes off the comic book jimmy shook his head, "nope"

"See? You don't know what you're missing. Role Playing is the epitome of the modern nerd society. I'm not a nerd, but Dungeons and Dragons... You gotta love it."

Jimmy looked up, "really!?...hmm....sounds interesting!"

Jorgen didn't want leave Allor but knew he had too. This was depressing!

((next morning))

Derek woke up and got in the breakfast line to have some of whatever crap they were serving up today.

Jorgen and Allor stood at the back whispering. They waited patiently. Soon it was their turn.

Derek couldn't help but feel a little isolated. He understood that it was probably important for them to keep their reason for being arrested secret, but he still wanted to know.

Jimmy walked up to Jorgen and Allor.

Allor glanced up noticing him first. "Hey." she said smiling. Jorgen joined her.

Derek moved and sat with Jorgen and Allor.

Allor looked up and smiled. "Hey, Derek." she said happily eating. For someone who was in deep sh!t she was extremely complacent. "So how's it going?"

"Ok, I guess. You seem... Cheerful, for somebody who just got arrested." After a long pause, he added, "Al... I'm sorry."
