I have read them both. I like The Da Vinci code better too. Agles and Demons did not seem as possable as Da Vinci.

I LOVE The Da-Vinci code.
WOW.
i read it las weekend and i loved it so much
the plot is amazing!!!

super great book!!! i also read Angels & Demons, Deception Point and im starting Digital Fortress!! he has such a fertile imagination! hes really a genious!

The actual story of Da vinci code is rather simple and uninspired. What makes the book worthwhile is the interesting research he shares with the readers.

I'm not finish reading this book.. But it's ausome as of the moment! There are lot of tricks and twists! I really love the characters.. It has all in one package! I'm a catholic.. but being an open-minded person, i'll leave all the truths about the holy grail and divinity of christ to the book itself.. it really entertains me but for a 'virgin' like me, it was shocking!

Being a Catholic I found the Da Vinci Code very entertaining, and that's about it. True, it seemed very peculiar, but seeing as Dan Brown is a Christian, I believe his goal was to merely put out a book that would shake the masses...

Did you find it very controversial? I heard it promotes gnosticism and not too fond of Catholicism? Let me know I been wanting to read it but never made it part of my reading list.

I didn't find it controversial at all, I enjoyed the book, and found a lot of it fairly believable, like it may actually have happened.

The Da Vinci Code is definitely a phenomenal book, although in my mind I liked Angels and Demons better.

I agree 100%.

I currently own all the Dan Brown novels. 😛 Nearly done Deception Point.

Solomon Key(2007) should be a hit. Every single one of his novels has.

I agree with you as well. Without a DOUBT Angels and Demons was a better book than da vinci code. The villains, the plot twists, the characters and their flashbacks.

I mean, who doesn't like the Camerlengo in spite of what he did? And Maximillion Kohler? Love him, then hate him, then love him, then hate him. Man what a story.

I read Da Vinci before A and D and every time I asked "which book was better of the two" Angels and Demons was the answer. I kept thinking "How? Da Vinci is AMAZING" yet was TOTALLY pulled in by Angels.

I know this is random and no one knows me, but my goal is to spread the word.......there will be a Dragonlance movie in 2007! (don't bother flaming me, because will most likely never see it)

A&D should have been made into a movie, not Da Vinci Code. In my opinion.

Sony Pictures bought the franchise of A&D together with DVC. We'll have chance to see the A&D on silverscreen, too.

DVC? Good book. Good read. Interesting. Issues are possible but still kept in secret. Priory of Sion? They do exist, I must believe, but its a pseudonym for the Brotherhood. I doubt its the actual name of the secret group or else, it won't be a secret anymore.

A&D? Better. Excellent. But far from possibility... Remember how Langdon glides on air from the chopper and dropped himself into a river?

But I must admit A&D must be an excellent movie.

🙂

Dan Brown Rocks!! that's all I have to say. Bye
