what happened to Angel's skin? In some pics, he's white and in others he's blue. What's the deal?

he was white in the begging, then he lost his wings in the morlocks incident, then apocalypse gave him new metalic wings, but due to the treatment his skin turned blue and finally his second mutation triggered and his skin turned back to normal
