It's a go for The Vega Brothers

Good news for those expecting Quentin Tarantino’s “Vega Brothers” film to be about as dead as a crippled colt.
"Yeah, well, he's good at avoiding that subject. As far as I know, he told me that he wants to make the picture”, Michael Madsen tells IGNFilmForce.
“He was planning to make it for a long time, but as time went by, John physically changed, and I physically changed, and we don't look the same as we did when were doing Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs. So he decided it would be kind of impossible to make the film. But right after saying that, he went off to Mexico for a couple of days, and I'm not sure what he did down there, but when he came back… [Laughs] I was at a hotel in San Diego, and he called me on the phone, and he said, 'I think I figured out how to make The Vega Brothers.' And I said, 'Really?' And he goes, 'Yeah, listen to this.' And he pretty much told me a plot of the film in about 20 minutes. I couldn't repeat it to you because it's really confusing. But it did make sense. But only he could tell it in a way that would make sense. If I tried to tell you, everybody would be very confused. So he's gonna do it, and he has the idea, and the idea works very well. I think it's just gonna be a matter of getting the screenplay finished and actually getting up to shoot it because I think we're gonna do this World War II thing first."
Next for Madsen is his directorial debut, a Depression-era gangster flick about Charles Arthur Floyd, better known as "Pretty Boy" Floyd. Madsen will play the lead role.
I would have put the link but "I'm not well known enough"
