For whoever wanted to know about being an extra: You do not need any acting experience whatsoever to be an extra. It's as simple as that!

yeah all the POC threads were merged all over the place i can't find the "what do u want to happen in POC2" thread!

Yea i've been looking for the 'What do you want to happen in POTC2' thread too. thats annoying, i had no idea where ANYthing was a while ago.

but to be an extra u also need to live in the caribbean. but you do kinda need acting experience,u need confidence to be running around and screaming when the pirates are fighting and stuff like that.

it's the upcomming potc movie: gossip, previews enz, or something like that, but the stories are a lot of pages back, i really had to look for a long time to find them, but i don't know which page exactly.. 😕

and i 'don't think i'd have the confidence to run around screaming, such a shame.. 🙁

Trust me. Being an extra is so easy. I've done extra work on American Dreams, Gilmore Girls, and Six Feet Under, each show a ton of times. All you do is sit around in the background. Once I was in a pool scene, another time I was in a party scene and there was a lot of smoke on set, and I was in a funeral scene on 6-feet, but nothing extra hard. And majority of the people I meet on set, are not actors. They are high school/ college students looking for extra money, or retired people just trying to live a lifelong dream of being on TV, or unemployed people trying to make money between jobs, or people who work part time. Trust me, I've met people from all walks of life. Its really not that hard. And as for being in the Caribbean, they really didn't film that much of the first on there. I believe it was about a month- a month and a halfof filming there. Considering they film for about 3-4 month bad. So come on guys, we still have a chance!!!

yes extra work is fun, its easy and almost anyone can do it!!!! My whole family does it.
