ok i've found some verrryy interesting info on potc2 auditions THOUGH I'M NOT SURE IF THEY ARE CORRECT, i found them on scriptcrawler :

*They need 4 10-15 year old girls, the parts have not been stated yet.
*They will be holding auditions in Miami Florida sometime between May and August
*If you do not live near Miami you can send them pictures of you and a resume. (When you can start sending and where to send too has not been stated yet either)
*Then if they like you they will send youo a script with the parts you need to read.
*Then You will read the lines and send the video back to them.
*Then if they still like you they will fly you over too Miami for a real audition with the writers, director, producer, and some cast.

PLEASE READ ABOUT AUDITION INFORMATION:

Okay boys and girls, here's the deal:

1. Neither of the sequels have been written yet, so they aren't even in what's called "Pre-Production" which is gathering budgets, set locations, etc. During that time, casting occurs. No sooner.

2. No word on when the script will be finished, so don't ask. When it's done, it's done.

3. There are no definite parts available yet, nor details of what they might be needing in respect to casting. Yoy'll have to wait until the script is finished.

Here's what's been gathered by the commenters.

Note: none of this information has been confirmed by anybody. It's mostly just rumors and speculation, but it's something to tide you over until "official" news comes out:

According to "The Strokes", auditions will be held sometime in early summer/late spring in Miami, Florida, and possibly LA & New York as well.

Here's just some guidelines if you are considering auditioning for a film:
1. Get an agent or manager. These people are trained to find information FOR you. People in the "business" only talk to other people in the business, not you.

2. No movie studio will fly you from anywhere to audition for their movie. That's up to you.

3. Get professional "head shots" done. These are really high quality portrait photographs that are meant to be sent to casting directors to be looked at. This is how most of the casting processes take place. They find a nice head shot, then they make a call to that person's agent and they set up an audition.

4. Movie studios and famous people will probably ignore all mail you send them, no matter how talented or beautiful you think you are. Everyone has to start at the bottom, especially in Hollywood. Bottom line, GET AN AGENT.
