Well tinkerbell668, your problem is confidence. You have to be confident about yourself, no matter what you do! You will show your dad that acting is a real job, and he will see. Your second problem is simular to mine, I belive that I can already act, and it came to me naturally, and you know what? That happens! You're just naturally talented! You just have to show that to the Casting Directors, but if you're good at acting, but you need to practice a little more, they can train you. Being experianced means that you actually went to an acting school, or you're in an agency, but if they like you and you look like the character their looking for, and know how to act, they will pick you.
Don't worry, just take a breath, calm down, and be confident, go to the auditions and try out! I belive in you! Hey, maybe we can meet eachother at the auditions!

oo yeah i used to sneak on during computer class. well not really sneak, cause our teacher didn't really care. email isn't allowed in my school, but i was on there everyday (almost), checking all my email and he sometimes knew and didnt care.

u're homeschooled? i used to be homeschooled in like 2nd grade. it was fun but i missed my friends. yeah. no waking up early, and school always ended early. it was fun.

but that has nothing to do with POC. sorry. didn't mean to wander from the subject. sorry.

ok. here i go:
i have braces and glasses. i am ugly. i don't kno much about acting, or even whether i can. (i am in theatre class tho). i have no resume. i have no agency. i am clueless about the auditions and the headshots and everything. i am too scared to ask my parents.

ok now it sounds like i'm whining and trying to make everyone feel sorry for me. i'm not. i might be exaggerating a bit. i mean, i wear contacts, and supposedly braces aint a problem. ok. theatre class will help me with the acting, but not enough. nor will the school play, if i make it. i need to like get a small role in some other movie or something, and get an agency, and learn how to act. oh yeah, and tell my parents.

sorry this is so long. i'm only looking for advice. not pity or anything, so please don't think that i'm all feeling sorry for myself. but this is better than being like o yeah everything's under control and then realizing like 3 days before auditions that i have problems. better to exaggerate what u need to do than to underexggerate (is that a word) and not get enough done, if that makes sense.

Wow! You also have a problem with confidence, even bigger.
You HAVE to be more confident about yourself! No matter what career you want to have. I'm not sure wheather you even are intrested in acting judging by what you wrote, maybe there is something else you're intrested in?

The subtitle is not going to be 'The Treasure of the Lost Abyss.' There is no ship called the Abyss. There is no casting currently going on for any role (so please stop calling the office). There are no roles for 12-14 year old female actresses.
