Predictions - Episode II - Captain REX's Dark Jedi RPG

What did he think we were going to do, sit around chatting while he's running off with possibly very important information?, Quor thought to himself.

erm, rex.... I called my ship to the hangar in epI of your game, with a simple press on a button that will happen again, you know 😖

So... did Galiss get to the hanger then?

You can try, Legion, though it seems your remote is not working. The cook probably has it on manual override.

You are all in the lounge now, with a very angry Thajkon.

"I'm not angry with you for getting poisoned or losing the cook, for no harm was really done. I am angry that Tarnidmir dare to send an assassin to try and kill us off. He had a variety of poisons hidden in the kitchen. Aldoans, like Terran and I, are immune to poisons, so no doubt he has tried poisoning me several times..."

Christof, you feel uncomfortable now, having eaten Thajkon's unfinished meal earlier. You aren't poisoned though. The cook must have given up on poisoning Thajkon by today.

"As you all know, Tarnidmir's base is on Hoth. He has never liked me, yet I have bribed him into working for me for decades. The old bastard wants to be rid of me very badly, as you can tell."

"Legion, you no doubt want your ship back, am I correct?"

Christof goes to the restroom and takes some anti poison meds just incase.

"Lets go get the Bastard."

Well, even if you weren't poisoned, you feel better now.

Thajkon waits for Legion's reply.

Quor says nothing, prefering to observe rather than speak at the moment.

I stand against a wall, listening to the convo's, and watching everyone. Why add myself to the confusion to find out whats happening, when i can just listen.

rex... why on earth would I get a manual override on my ship if the only remote control it has is on my arm????

For the sake of the game... It'd be a little stupid if all you had to do was press the button and we'd have the guy...

DR, I summoned my ship to the first hangout using that thing on my arm, rex was aware of it
granted, the cook can steal my ship, and such, but why can he override it if the only remote control to the ship there is is on my arm?

oh well, GameMaster can overrule everything

"Yes, I want my ship back... preferably in one piece. And I want the cook back... preferably in several pieces!"

"Thajkon, who is this Tarnidmir?"

Christof asks as he walks back into the main room.

Dalton looks round, a little pissed the cook got away. He wants to get back to his room where he had things to help him relax.

Exactly my point...

Yerssot, if you pressed the button, the ship would go into auto-pilot and try to return. Since there is someone at the controls, they can override the ship's commands and continue piloting as normal.

"I'm sure you do, and you will, Legion..." Thajkon assures, his face grim.

"Tarnidmir is the man that these Dark Jedi freed from Oovo IV a few months ago (as in last game, Xeous). He is a long time partner of mine, but he absolutely despises me."

"Alright. Is there anything we should know before we go catch this cookie?"

I step into the group from my shadow on the wall. "Here's an idea, how about we stop talking about it, and actually make a plan to find this bastard. We are the greatest killing minds in the gallxy aren't we. One of us has to have at least the begining of an idea to get this guy before he can begin to form another attempt to kill us off."

"We can't just walk in unprepaired. If this Tarnidmir has any defences on his planet, we won't even make it to the ground...We have to think it out before we do something rash. Use your head first...Common sence really."
