Don't worry, old boy...everything'll work out nicely in the end...

you think the movie is gonna be good? 😱

No, but *Y*ou've gotta keep *Y*our hopes up...

I am, I have full confidence in it

I think it's gonna be good 😄

if they keep Pierce yes

I hope they do what Pierce is saying and make it like they used to be like, before it became all action. It'd also be good to follow the book.

which book would that be?

Casino Royale, if they decide to re-make it now that they've finally got the rights to it. They may decide to make it into some new film but I'ld like to see a new Casino Royale, other than the spoof one of 67. It'ld be a waste not to make it after working on getting the rights for so long.

I think the title RISISCO...or is that RISICO...from a Fleming short story would make a pretty good title for the next Bond film... ✅

SS... if they're gonna remake it purely on the book, it will be weird... seeing a movie just about playing cards

I haven't actually read that particular book, but I always prefer it if they keep close to the story of the book.

lemme see...

Brosnan about being Bond:

"That's it, I've said all I've got to say on the world of James Bond"
"Bond is another lifetime behind me"

(note that he can play "hard to get" or just get some people to note the movie)

British tabloids `confirm` Pierce Brosnan has quit his role as James Bond 007 (see The Daily Puke... or The Daily Mirror)

Many female fans will miss Brosnan's smouldering brown eyes (sic) and soft Irish brogue but they'll also be impressed with the list of stars wanting to take his place, which the Mirror have listed as Colin Firth, Ewan McGregor, Orlando Bloom, Colin Farrell, Jude Law, Ioan Gruffud, and even Rupert Everett.

The paper claims, "...whoever is chosen as the sixth will be thrown into action pretty soon as Bond movie makers EON Productions want to start shooting the next film in January.

A spokesman said yesterday: "We would never speculate on the next star. We get hundreds of people who think they would make a good Bond."

Welsh actor Ioan Gruffudd tells how he would approach a 007 role

"I've not been approached, but it they approached me tomorrow I would say 'yes' in a second. I think people would welcome a Welsh James Bond."

So, he says they DIDN'T ask him to be one!

ahead of schedule

A script was complete, a director was being hired and then they would see about Bond.

"The News Of The World":
"The Man With The Red Tattoo" is tipped to be the next film by the paper, with a deadly virus as the main plot device.

!!The rights to "The Man With The Red Tattoo" are owned by Ian Fleming Publications, and will almost certainly never be made into a James Bond film. None of the post-Fleming novels by Kingsley Amis, John Gardner and Raymond Benson have ever been officially used as a basis for a Bond movie. Since exhausting Fleming's series of novels, Eon Productions (owners of the film rights) have created original stories rather than attempt to licence rights from IFP (formely Glidrose). !!

Eric Bana

"no, I wouldn't be a Bond, no"

(from The Mercury, Australia)

`Casino Royale` rumoured to be the basis for Bond 21 script

"Elements of the story have been influenced by Ian Fleming's original 007 novel "Casino Royale", it is NOT completely based on it.

007's character was written with Brosnan in mind.

There is NO title at this time.

Director to be announced within 2 months. "

(I believe Tarantino started this?)
