when does love become obsession?

I'm in 7th grade...but I have 2 go 2 bed. BYE YAWL!!

it was probably just my inability to read books with any sort of complex plot, I need to read things at least 2 times to get it, like I never got the whole Aragorn/Arwen stuff until seeing the movies, which focused on their relationship too much, but now when I read the books I start noticing the 3 times Arwen is mentioned (once not by name though) *sighs* I can't believe I read the books through once looking for that, it's so sad

I like them both, overall, maybe the books, but I'm a visual person, so maybe the films. 😕 Uh...I dunno.

okay i used to watch the cartoon and glanced at the book but legolas caught my eye in number one and two films later im hooked.... But not on him ew i like viggo... have his poetry book and arwens necklace..all this from legolas lol im sad

you have arwens knecklace? OMG.. how much did u get it for, cuz i weely want it, but everywhere ive seen it its been tres expensive

Honestly, with a brain like mine, its hard to think. But i really did like the LOTR movies for themselves...I heard they were good..so i watched them and fell in love..and it wasnt till later on that my obsession sparked, realy!! But if the characters were all switched around i really couldnt say there would be any obsession because these characters are what made the story..or the cast basically

To be honest, I never even heard of LOTR til the movies came out 😕 But after I saw the FOTR, I went out and bought the books and read them (it kind of took me a while cause some parts confused me and other times I put the book down for a few months and kind of forgot about it...I blame school work for that haha) and I was still a little over half way through ROTK when the ROTK movie came out...Hehe let's just say I took my time 🙄 If I had enough time, I could probably read the trilogy in a week or so...I just had lots of things going on at the time. But anyways, while I was reading the ROTK, I didn't get some parts because of the way Tolkien wrote the books, you know. I do like the books better, but if I hadn't seen the movies, I wouldn't have been able to understand a few parts. Or it could have been that I just wasn't paying attention to what I was reading...It's really hard to read in school while everyone will not SHUT UP!!! Hahaha. 😛 But sometime during this month, I'm gonna start the trilogy again. I finished The Hobbit a few weeks ago (I have to go in order of course hehe) so the trilogy is next! 😄

Hmmm weren't we trying to get off the topic of Orlando??? SOMEBODY got us back on that topic!!! 😠 I think that Billy is a better actor than Orlando. No offense to Orli or anything, I just think Billy's better at acting (and no, I don't think that just because I like him...a lot. I REALLY think that). Most girls just like Orli for his looks and not his acting...I like Billy for his amazing acting abilities and how he portrayed Pippin magnificently! 😄

wow... essay!!! hehe, i agree tho, the books are kinda hard to read, but there were bits in the film which u had to read the books to understand!!!!
i love both tho,...... i think that the films were exactly right tho, like they got all the cast right and stuff, and it was really believable!!
