Oni

Oni is GREAT! It was made by Rockstar (or in colaboration.. I dunno) Its is Like the Matrix, only you get skills as you go and there is no Bullet time like in MAx Payne Or ETM, But Oni Is Set in the Futur and everybody is Animé kinda. Its really cool.

yeah Oni was one of the earliest games 2 be released on PS2. i didnt like it though. gameplay was too sluggish, but yeah nice anime style graphics.

i heard many ppl saying that oni was the first bomb in ps2... haven't played though

yes I've heard it was quite craptacular. Poor controls, poor graphics, poor story, poor gameplay etc

I was referring to both. Apparently the PC version wasnt much more credible than its ps2 counterpart.

as you can see, the reader reviews differ (and vary) greatly from the 'professional' reviews, and as you know the reader reviews are what make or break the game.

Oni was a pretty good release, it was one of the first games i got for my PS2 and was brought via a special promotion and although i am not a fan of the whole Japanese anime genre i quite enjoyed this game.
