heres an update on ozzfest here Black Lable Society have been added as mainstage openers so heres the line up thus far

..keep in mind a NUMBER of bands have contracts out and are debating about signing on for the tour, but at this point in time even ClearChannel Worldwide is still waiting to hear the final 100% for many bands, some of which include heavyweights like DAMAGEPLAN, FEAR FACTORY, LACUNA COIL, IN FLAMES, UNEARTH, AS I LAY DYING and more..

sources here and there concerts are my hobby so i do alot of reserch on tours and what not ijust minutes ago got a tasty peice of info on the ozzfest its being said that none other then SLAYER are siad to be close to comming to an agreement on playing the mainstage this year

Slayer, Judas Priest (reunited with vocalist Rob Halford) and Slipknot will join Ozzy Osbourne as the mainstage acts on this year's Ozzfest, set to begin in early July, Billboard.com has learned. Details of the tour will be announced next week in Los Angeles.

For Osbourne, the shows will mark his return to the live stage after suffering severe injuries in an ATV crash late last year. Since its inaugural run in 1996, Ozzfest has grossed $146.5 million from 236 shows that have drawn 3.8 million headbangers, primarily to outdoor amphitheaters.

awesome! early july.... so ticket will probably be on sale soon once they figure everything out? i don't have the money yet so it's not too bad haha, but it sounds like a great line up so far

i just read an article at 93x.com, and it says

93X Rock News has learned that indeed Ozzfest may not be coming to Somerset, Wisconsin ... nor Minnesota for that matter ... Keep it locked on 93X as an Official announcement regarding the exact lineup for the festival is expected to be made at a Press Conference on Thursday, February 19 ... but just be prepared for us NOT to make that list ...

which really sucks because i'd either be able to get tickets to the somerset show or to minnesota.. looks like i'm not!!
