You just got it YESTERDAY? Well, you'll find out what you've been missing out on.
I think that if WoW isn't selling much anymore, Blizzard will have to make the subscription go away, because so many people are going :"Aw man, it's another one of those online subscription games. I ain't paying."
That's the exact reason why I didn't buy it. If Blizzard booted the subscription, I would buy it, and so would many others. Although the quest won't be updated nearly as much, I would still play.
Actually the majority of the players that I've encountered seem rather mature, that's a misconception brought about by all of the "battlenet kiddies" that people were worried about, although I've leveled fairly quickly, (lvl 35 baby) and I think it's safe to assume that the battlenet kiddies are still fairly low lvl because they're used to their games being fast and easy.
I didn't play EQ2, but from the reviews I've read and from other people who have played the game, it's not very good.
As far as the gameplay in WoW, it's top notch, there's alot of variety and strategy to the gameplay so it never gets very stale.

Very mature, although some peeps, especially hirer levels are selfish.... they'd let you die and watch......
OMG i went on a raid and 40 of us beat up a level 36 tauren player 😂 then we got to the NPC undead main gate and all got raped 😂
have you guys seen http://www.blizzhackers.com/ .. they seem to exist only to cause blizzard and thier gamers trouble
Ok guys, I need your feedback on this game.
With the big holiday rush and everything...I know I'll be getting Half-Life 2 for Christmas and KOTOR II...but should I get this as well?
I definitly can afford the games, I just haven't gotten HL2 because I need SOMETHING for Christmas...and I'm going to Vegas so I'm a little strapped.
is WoW a must?
Depends, if you pay for every month seperately it's 15 bucks a month, however, if you buy 6 months in advance it comes to roughly 13 bucks a month.
I really can't recommend a PvP server though. At higher lvls it becomes a gank-fest and it's almost impossible to lvl sometimes. It almost forces grouping to insure safety. I prefer the normal servers, you can still pvp, but it's controled and consentual. You won't be walking around at lvl 25 and get ganked by a lvl 45 player while you aren't able to do anything about it.
But, some people like the inconsistancy and challenge of that type of gameplay, so choose wisely.
Backfire...thanks for the info. I guess "to each their own" is the name of the game with this. After posting yesterday I hit up the local mall for some early holiday shopping and altho i promised not to buy myself anything, I went ahead and bought EQ2. I asked the clerk and he said they'd been selling "like hot cakes." Despite the cliche', it was just the push i needed. I should be diving in tonight! will post thoughts....
