The Day After Tomorrow [merged]

I've yet to see a good disaster movie that isn't simply formulaic. Most of them are just tedius and boring too me. Armageddon was the only one that I can watch on occasion, but that's also too long, drawn out, and typical.

How many different sub-plots can you have with the same exact main plot of the world ending? Will Day After Tommorow be any different? I doubt it, but we'll see.

i wouldn't consider it a horror movie...and please dont type in All Caps

just another money making attempt at a formula that always works, apocalyptic situations. nothing original about it. now the end of the world premise can be a wide area for a story but it never is, now is it ?

The best disaster movie I ever saw was Dante's Peak. I love that movie. I think this movie looks good too.
