Star Wars Episode II on laserdisc ?????

Ok i am confused I thought laserdisc were no longer made but I was told that in 2002 Episode II was issued on laserdisc in Jap.....

I know Episode I is onLaserdisc and i been told it looks better then the Episode I DVD cause its uncompressed........and the audio EX Dolby

Anyhow anyone besides me know if this is true if so I love to find it

I'm not very good about the laserdisc things, but I would say, in japan everything is possible
