It's not a Misery ripoff, it is a movie made about Stephen Kings short story "Secret Window Secret Garden" from the Half Past Midnight book. I read it when I was younger, the story was kinda "blah"

Well, it sounds way too much like a mix of "Mysery" and "The Shining". That's all.

I guess because it has to do a book driving somebody crazy.
