MAD about Cradle of Filth...

any metalheads out there who are ticked off because bands like Cradle Of Filth, Dying Fetus, and Slipknot make Death metal and hardcore look like a bunch of morons dancing aroung playing pure noise on their instruments? I admit thses bands have good drummers but everything else is so simple and sounds like repetitive noise crap or something. REAL Death Metal takes a lot of hard work and talent, I mean lots of beats and pauses to remember and play, when to play what with who. These other bands tick me off, they give metal heads a bad name. I'm not trying to offend any fans of these bands, I haven't heard all their stuff so maybe I am wrong, but I know that most people have no Idea how talented bands like Extol, Opeth, and Norma Jean are.

hey man i love Opeth. and i tottaly agree with you on what you said..exept cradle of filth aint death metal..they are black metal..and they suck! 😄

haha yea, people tell me the same thing, im not too familiar with labels. What is the diff. between death and Black metal?

black metal has a more gohtic dark sound to it..less growling..less heavy then death metal

death metal is more complex " fast complecated drums,complex hitting riffs,GROWLING..few death metal bands do clean vocals..and ofcours heavier

as for me i prefer melodic death metal
