dawn of the dead dvd
so i got all excited today becuase i was led to believe that the new Dawn of the Dead dvd was being released, but then i learned its not coming out till march 9th. does anyone know where i might be able to find it ahead of time, and kind fo special features the dvd has?
i though bout buying the older dvd but i can only find it running as low as 40 bucks. i love the movie and all but no dvd is worth 40 bucks!

Im not sure about the Special features. But it does have a DTS track. DTS tracks take up a lot of space on the DVD. So I assume that the Special features will be minimal. If there is quite a bit of features , then they lowered the audio bitrate of the DTS track .. and that kind of defeats the purpose /: too many companys doing that lame shit these days.

It doesn't get sent the day it's released, you should go by the invoice they send. Besides, why preorder movies that are readily available at retail, and cheaper? "Dawn" is only $11.99 at Best Buy. $2 cheaper than Deep Discount.

I seen on the website that Dawn of the Dead dvd was $14.99 at bestbuy... i figured I could preorder it cheaper and it would be here on by the release date. I was obviously mistaken.
Why would a company have a release date posted on there site if they cant get you the DVD by the release date? Why not have a "We can ship this DVD out date"
True there "free" shipping does state that, but COME ON. How can you compete with bestbuy when your price isnt much different and you cant get the dvd there on time.
I will never preorder a DVD again.

No company ships something before it's street date, just so you get it on the day of it's release. Ever. That is why pre-sales are pointless when it comes to regular release DVDs. Besides, Wal Mart usually comes along with a low price guarantee, that beats everyones lowest price.
BTW, it's going to be about 1 week from the order date for your movie to arrive. That's why they offer 3 day Expedited (Priority Mail) shipping.
