Harry Potter #5 Carry-On!

***sorry for the interruption here, but i would like to post this notice and receive some interest for this new hp carry on:

who would be interested in doing a new harry potter carry on story with me? the theme of this one would be something like stephen king's "the dead zone", instead Harry is bestowed this great gift to see how people are going to die by contact from others or touching objects and getting that glimpse into the dead zone. i haven't thought up a plot yet, but that's the theme so far. so...if anyone is interested, please let me know if you are! then, once i get enough people who want to join, i'll start the story and/or discussion thread! the title of it would go something like: Harry Potter Carry On #8 - The Dead Zone or The Dead Zone, Harry Potter Style.***

((ooh intriguing 😄 i havent written for ages, but iwill try ... here goes ))

harry wandered through the corridors, his heart was thumping against his chest. he still couldnt believe it had been a dream, he just had this feeing that it was foretelling him of something that was to come.

he shuddered, he hoped not, it was scary enough as a dream!

slowing down he thought he heard a footstep. he pulled the invisibility cloak around him more tightly and approached the next corner as quietly as he could.

the person whom he saw he hadnt been expecting, and to harrys dismay, he walked in the same direction as him.

harry tiptoed on, hardly daring to breath for fear of being caught.

eventually after what seemed like an eternity he saw the great oak doors infront of him. he followed the person infront as they hurried towards them.

outside the grounds were so dark that harry could barely see. the clouds were low and thick, obscuring any light that the moon was trying to shine on them.

harry looked around, then for some reason unknown to him he headed towards the forest.

it was dark and forbidding, but he felt unafraid.

as he entered under its canopy, squeezing between the trees, he heard someone calling his name.

he stopped, his heart beating like a drum, he felt sure that it could be heard for miles around.

slowly he resumed his walk

"harry" there it was again, he definately hadnt imagined it. he picked up his pace looking from side to side, and walked straight into something.

his looked up from the floor where he had fallen to see dumbledore lookin down at him.

"i knew that you were following me harry. come with me, ther is something i need to show you"

harry, puzzled allowed himself to be helped up, and followed dumbledore deeper into the forest.

"I wasn't following you on purpose," Harry said dully. He didn't have any interest in what was to come. He only wanted tyo go for a walk. Now it seemed he was getting what he wanted, so why should he feel anything extraordinary?

Together they walked in silence, until they came to the largest tree in the forest. Harry knew it was so because of the lessons Hagrid had taught him in his passion.

"The largest tree. But I expect you know that Harry,"

"Yes."

"I thought you might like to see the place where your parents were married."

Harry turned his head to face Dumbledore. He removed his cloak, and saw that Dumbledore had been looking at him despite his diguise.

"Married here?" Harry felt his lips curve in a smile, try as he might to change the fact.

"Indeed. It gives you strenth because of the spell that was cast that day. I am giving you permission to come into the forest this far. I have never given this kind of permission, but then again, you never did follow the rules did you. This symbol will be a kind of strength for you if you let it."

That was a week ago, and every evening since, Harry had gone down to the tree to dwell and meditate.

However, one evening something made him linger int he corridor longer than usual. He no longer needed to take his cloak with him now that he had permission to enter the forest. We was standing as though waiting for something, and when Cho's voice spoke out behind him, he wasn't surprised.

"Hi Harry," she said awkwardly.

"Hello,"

"Um...I thought you might like to know I was free tomorrow afternoon. I'd like to see you..."

"I see," said Harry, not giving any leeway to her pleading look.

But she stepped forward and said rather haltingly, "It's...dreadfully....important..."

Then she kissed Harry briefly and left.

Harry smiled despite himself and went to the tree in gleeful expectation of the following day.

harry slept badly that night, he kept waking up and looking at the clock. but, as it usually does when your waiting for something, time seemed to be going twice as slow as it should.

finally harry awoke to see a pinkish tinge over the forest. he yawned and stretched.

it was still too early to go down to breakfast, but there was no point in lying in bad.

harry got up and wandered to the owlery to see hedwig.

she flew down onto his shoulder and nibbled his ear affectionately

"hello hedwig, sorry, but i havent brought u anything to eat"
he stroked her back absent mindedly, his thoughts on what cho might need to speak to him about.

he hoped it wasnt going to be anything important. he hadnt spoke to her properly since there terrible realtionship the year before.

he felt a slight tingle in his stomach at the memory of kissing her.

looking out of the window he realised that he'd been stood there thinking for nearly half an hour. breakfast would be ready now.

he said goodbye to hedwig and hurried down to brreakfast, his stomach growling in anticipation.

harry arrived in the great hall and looked around, his heart gave a little leap as he spotted cho. she waved to him, and came over to speak to him....

Harry took a seat at the Gryfindor table surrounded by half a douzen of his school friends. Harry turned round to find Cho only meters away from him and the anticipation that Harry had had all night had finally arrived. Would Cho ask Harry out, would she tell him how sorry she was for never really believing him?

As all these thoughts were going through Harry's head, when suddenly someone tapped him on his shoulder. He spun around on his seat to find Cho standing in front of him. He gazed up at her, she was still the same as ever. She had the same eyes, mouth, nose and cheeks. Harry remembered looking into these exact same eyes in the room of requirements early last school year.

Harry smiled up at Cho, and he felt just like he felt last year, except this time everyone knew now that Lord V was back, they also know now that he’s after Harry!

“ Umm, Hi” Cho muttered through her slightly open lips, so Harry could hardly hear and felt like he needed a hearing aid.
“Hi Cho” Harry replied, and it never had felt so hard to talk to her, he thought to himself. Why is it so hard now, nothing much has changed over the holidays except for of course Lord V coming back. As Harry was thinking of this, Cho had a worried look on her face.
“Do you mind if I talked to you out side, it’s just that…umm…well, its kind a private!!” She exclaimed, looking around wondering how many people were listening to this and despising her for dropping Harry last year for some other guy.
Harry thought for a moment if he should actually refuse her asking this and leave her standing there embarrassed and rejected?? No he thought to himself, he wasn’t going to do that.
“Yea, ok” he replied

Harry stood up and walked to the left of Cho to the entrance hall where they made there way outside, where the birds were singing and sun was shining.
“Look Harry……..” Cho started, as they got far away from Hogwarts so nobody could over hear their conversation. “I have to tell you something……its about......" She took a breath and and continued.....???

( ppl that was the best i could do and im sori if you don't like it....just carry on writing and leave this one out of it 🙂 )

people! please let me know if you would like to join me for this story! if i don't get enough people interested in this story, i won't start it! if you don't know anything or much about stephen king's the dead zone, dead zone fans can help you out. (btw, sorry for the interruption again...)

Harry was anchise to here what cho was about to say but suddnely a klaxxen like sound went off. Harry and cho jumped it was just pevees. Harry looked over to Cho to see she had ran away.

Harry was starting to get annoyed. He wanted to know what was so important Cho had to tell him, that they walked 10 minutes out of the grounds so nobody would over hear them. He turned around and made his way back into the great hall, where people where now filing out from breakfast. Class’s would be starting tomorrow and Harry was dreading this. As well as doing another year of Potions with Snape, he also had endure several hours of him raking his brain trying to learn Occlumency. This year DD told Harry that he must learn harder then ever, so Lord V couldnt try the same thing as he did last year. Harry couldn’t bring himself to think of what kind of hero he was trying to be last year, and the major consequences that had on him.

He walked up the grand stair case, when he suddenly smacked straight into someone. Harry looked straight up to find a pretty looking Slytherin (sp?) girl steering at Harry, and all of a sudden blushing.

“Hi Harry” This strange girl said, half looking like she was going to faint or something.
“Umm, hi. Do I know you” Harry replied, she had probably heard all the stories about how he was such a hero, and look where that got him, he thought to himself.
“No, well not in person anyway. I’ve just come to Hogwarts, I’m in your year. Draco has told me all about you, not good things thought.
Just like that the colour from Harry’s face had gone, Draco had been telling everyone about him, just like usual. Harry didn’t feel as bad as he would have thought, Harry had one up on him. Draco knew perfectly well that Harry was the reason why his father was in Azkaban.
“You don’t seem as bad as he says you are” She continued. “You seen quite nice” She carried on blushing as well as steering at her feet.

Harry head felt like it was going to crack open, someone behind him had smacked him over the head with something hard. He turned around, his eyes watering from the force of impact, to find Draco standing there with 5 extra large books in his hand – Harry wondered if he had been carrying these around ready to attack if he saw him.

“What the hell did you do that for, you idiot” Harry said through the pain. He had one hand over his head, trying to stop the pain throbbing.
“Hitting on my girl friend were you Potter?” Draco said with such a comfortable smug look on his face which made Harry spin around to look at this strange girl.
She was embarrassed and by the look she had on her face, Harry knew that it was true. Draco’s girl friend was actually half decent looking, - and nice he thought to himself.

Harry turned and walked away.

it wasnt fair, draco was a horrible person, who didnt really care for anyone except himself, and here he was with a pretty girl, who seemed far too good for him. harry didnt doubt that it wouldnt be long until she became as bad as draco.

he continued up the stairs to his common room. it seemed to take way longer than normal

he reached the common room and was greeted by colin creevey
"HI Harry" he said with a huge smile. harry was suprised that he managed to restrain himself from hugging him, he looked like he wanted to
"hi colin" he said in a tired voice
"your owls over there, she's got a letter for you."

harry looked past colin to see hedwig perched on the back of a chair. he hurried over to her, and anxiously tore the parchment from her leg.

there in large scrolling letters was a short note

harry, meet me by the tree at midnight. you will be suprised.
you know the tree that i mean.
you must come alone, and bring the cloak

harry stared at the note puzzleed, nobody except him and dumbledore knew about the tree, and few people knew about the cloak.
he scratched his head, who could it be from?.........

later that night, when everyone else was asleep, harry threw the invisibility cloak over his shoulders and hurried out of the castle.

he slowed down as he approached the tree. he was feeling nervous. he was coming out in the middle of the night to meet who? for all he knew it could have been lord voldemort.

noone knew where he was, and noone would know if anything happenned.
harry cursed himself for being so stupid.

still he reasoned, it was too late to turn back now, he had to know who it was.

he reached the clearing and was shocked to see dracos girlfriend stood there.

"ts ok harry, you can take the cloak off, draco isnt here."

slowly he did as she said, wondering how she knew he was there.

"harry, my name is juniper iceglimmer, but as far as draco is concerned im called june. i have been sent to guard you, and help you through anyhting you may need help with."

"then why are you going out with draco? surely you can see what he's like to me"

"yes, but by going out with draco i can make sure that he does nothing to hurt you"

harry didnt know what to say, he was confused and puzzled. instead he walked towards the tree. he sat underneath it, and allowed his mind to go blank...................

that went from good to strange - but strange in a very good way 😉

As Harry sat under the tree where his parents had once been, he had longful pain inside him which he knew quiet well as loneliness. So many thoughts were going through Harry’s head and he wouldn’t make heads or tails out of any of them.

“So you were sent here protect me” Harry started, trying to put everything together.
“No, I was sent here to help you. I do not follow you around, I am just here if/when you need me” She exclaimed.
“Who do you work……I mean who sent you, to help me I mean?” He asked, with a wondering look upon his face. All he could think of was DD.
“I can not tell you at this present time, as you will not understand. In good time I will let you know of the risk taker who cares for you so much”
Harry was starting to get annoyed. He had just found out that there was someone watching over him, who was hardly a few month older than him and she was suppose to help him, good load of luck that will do he thought.

Harry turned to leave as he walked up Hogwarts grounds. The cold air was rushing on his face as he was thinking about all this new information. The one that really annoyed Harry was how did she know of the tree and who cares about me this much. Harry couldn’t quiet put his finger on it, the only one who really seemed to love Harry was Sirus and well he’s gone.
He turned around to see Juniper walking behind him. He had to know, at that moment he seize her arm and looked into those eyes, which he had on hours before.
“Please tell me, I have to know. Nobody loves me that much to send someone as pretty as you to help me” Harry said, not realising the effect of his words until he had finished them.
“Oh but Harry, many people do care about you, you just don’t know. And one person cares about you and you don’t even see them” She exclaimed, feeling like this conversation had finally ended and turned to walk away but Harry kept her still from walking away.
“The only person I can think of is DD but I see him everyday, how does that work?” He was so confused and his head still aching from that after noon.
“Ok Harry, I will tell you. Please don’t ask to many questions about this, because I unlike DD are still trying to work this out” She finished and took a deep breath. Instead of opening her mouth to continue her sentence, she seemed to go in a trance.
There were footsteps behind them and when he turned around, Harry nearly dropped dead with shock. After all these holidays of thinking how he would ever be able to do this, it had happened – Sirus was standing in front of him !!!

(Mwahahaha im not sure mi self how that happened but ohh well)

Harry stood there for what felt like hours, before he snapped out of it. His godfather who had died that summer was standing infront of him, steering back at him.
Harry turned to Juniper with an expression on his face that couldn’t be described.
“ What” That’s all Harry could manage to say.
“Im sorry you had to find out like this Harry. You see, the Ministry of Magic has been working on something called ‘oralictial’ which is where we can bring someone into the living world whom has passed already passed time. They become a vision, which we can see and they can talk to us just like being alive. The only problem is that they can only stay in the living world for 5 minutes and you can not touch them” Juniper told Harry.
“So does that mean that I can talk to my mum and dad? I can can’t I, if I can talk to Sirius I will be allowed to talk to my parents?” Harry exclaimed with a hopeful look on his face. The thing he has missed out on for his whole entire life was about to come true.
“ No” Juniper told Harry, and just like that Harry’s hopes came crashing down.
“But…. Why…. I don’t understand” He told her, hoping with all his might that he would be able to/
“You can only talk to people that have died in the last 2 years, Im sorry Harry”

Harry noticed now that Sirius had gone. He didn’t know what to do, everything was so confusing and he had to stop and think. He ran back up to the castle and up to the Gryfindor common room, where he went into the boy’s dormitory. He lay on his bed, thinking about everything. For one minute of his whole life he had hope that he thought that he might be able to talk to his parents, but it had gone pretty soon.
Just then Ron came through the dormitory door and came to sit next his friend.
Harry was thinking weather he should tell Ron about the meeting he had just had. When he opened his mouth to tell Ron about the strange happenings that had just happened Ron spoke.
“Harry you’ll never guess what happen,……………..

I have to think up a nice way to carry on now.............very good!

are you sure, i think that was a crap part......i think i stuffed it up by doing that......it really doesn't make much sence
