My favorite kind of sword is a bastard sword, or also called the hand-and-a-half sword. You can either use one or two hand with it. My favorite kind of edged weapon altogether would be the katar, a large East Indian-style dagger

I designed and my own Katana, it was actually made by a guy in our town who makes swords. It is a about 3 and a half feet long, I added hald the lengh from the bottom of the blade to the top, on top, because there are deep grooves, like a bread knife, but very spiky, and curved towrds you. The last one, closeest to the handle is turned the other way. On the side is carved its name: Trance
