Sakura felt tears rolling down her cheeks. She couldn't stop them. They just kept coming to her eyes. She felt her shadows curl around her and nuzzle her, trying to get her to cheer up and stop crying. Sakura simply willed them away. The shadows shimmered before doing as their mistress wished and departing from her, both reluctantly and sadly. Sakura was beginning to give up hope of Tyran returning when a noise like feet upon the grass came to her ears. Weakly she lifted up her head and gazed at Tyran standing before her. Her face lit up and her sorrow vanished for a few seconds. Suddenly, she felt something icy cold crawling around her like she had just fallen through ice into the piercing waters where each second felt like daggers being thrown at you and slicing your skin. She felt unknown and unwanted shadows creep above her and block out the sun. Sakura gave a sharp cry before something completely consumed her. Everything was dark. Sakura looked around frantically, calling Tyran's name. Her sorrow quickly vanished and flashed into terror. Pure fear leapt through her veins and pierced her heart, clenching it like a fist about to crush it in two. She cried out in desperation, hoping someone would hear her. Not even her shadows would return in such a place. Sakura waved her hand in front of her face but could see nothing of her fingers. Only pitch darkness formed around her. "Am I dead? Is this what death truly is?" She thought. Her mind raced and she felt something like a hand upon her back. Whipping around Sakura gasped as one thought shot into her mind. Then she fell unconscious to the floor and remembered nothing more of the darkness that consumed her.
