He wandered as a whisp. before forming into a being under the shade of the thick forest that cast its shadow as if night. He was confused as he stumbed around the roots looking for some form of location. His usual glowing skin gave him his navigation but now he was blind.
He stood still and closed his eyes and his third eye searched the world of what was light. He could see the plants around him breath and thrive off of the nutrents in the ground as the small bugs squirmed and wrigled in the soft soil at his feet. He was feeling weak, and as his hinger grew the life around him started to screach as their life was sucked from their carbon shells and water filled forms.
He took a deep breath when he was done and sad on what he thought was a root. It wasnt enough. He let out a silent sigh as his skin glowed a pale light. He was ready he got up and wandered throught the forest admiring the lamp like plants that gave light to the world of shadow. He soon found a building, an inn of sort filled with....Hosts? He walked to the door and slowly opened it. Surprised it was relitvly full he sliped into the shadowed and up into the rafters above looking down at the many creatured of life below. He sat their waiting untill yes he saw it. A man going off to sleeping quarters. It was his time....

The spirit's chants grew louder until they grew to a loud roar, then it stopped chanting. It's chains pulled it under into the earth once more, and the huge afflicted creature rose up once more.

It waved it's strange looking wand and aimed it at the figure with the daggers. A small ball made of lightning flew out at him.

Then he chanted something quickly, and his weapon glowed, turning into a weapon made of skulls.

As he summoned more of the strange lightning orbs, they appeared to come faster. Clearly the weapon was some sort of Weapon of Quickening.

Thanos got struck and hit a wall knocked off gaurs and got up shakiley

Scythe slinked in the shadows behind the heavy man. as he oppened the door he sliped in under his feet just before he shut it. The man walked around the room to the bed and sat on it. must wait... wait till hes more.... vulnerable... He thought to himself as the man started to lay down to sleep. Scythe closed his eyes and realeased his third and studied the mans vital signs. The man passed out from all the beer he consumed. His eyes flickered open and he slid out to the bed side. purple light poured out from under him and swirled at his feet. He inhaled deeply as the mans soul started to drain from his body. He tried to quicken the absorption afraid that the light would be seen under the door. but it was still slow. As the unexpecting man slumbered his life withered away in his dreams but to scythes worryes a loud knock on the door awoke his host. But the host couldnt move he was traped in the dark purple light. All he could do was yell... and yell he did. QUickly the door burst open and two men walked in. Scythe was in shock. he couldnt move untill the prosses was over and the men charged at him. He quickly knocked them back with a wave of his hands as they were stuned from the darkness he weilded. They started to yell but to no avail. the reenforcments came to late. Scythe was gone leaving behind the man, a now rotting body.

Kyva had the wind knocked out of her by Zuke's shove, but she knew he had protected her. ...As had the fox. Still in wolf form, she darted over and supported his body weight so he could stand. Taking her human aspect she unsheathed her diamond-sharp chain and narrowed her eyes, which now glowed a frosty blue colour. Expertly, she stood before the fox demon and swung her weapon in a circle , slitting the bellies of the infected ...things..that came toward them. Their blood and innards poured out, but there were just too many approaching. She glanced back at Zuke, who appeared completely different, and backed both herself and the fox against the wall.

Taking her wolf form once more she nodded at the fox. There is a technique common to experienced fighters..usually Ookami demons...but the foxes sometimes knew it too. The technique took two, and would involve both beings to share their souls and become one, in the form of two. Their every move would be syncronuized, and it was said that with two of addicate strength, the attack was unbeatable. She pulled her sleeve up and showed him the scar she had gotten mastering the technique. If he had one too, then they could pull this off.

Thanos looked at her then smirked and pulled the sleeve up it was the same as hers and nodded "i see..... you sure you want to?"he asked simply

Scythe hid in the rafters in the main part of the inn where he noticed Thanos backed into a wall..... He quickly moved over among the rafters and loomed over head to watch what he thought was the festivities.

" Do we have much of a choice..? I mean..if it works right we'll be ok in the end. But if we mess up we're stuck with the same soul. "

She lashed out again with her chain. where where these things comnig from?

nodded "good point fine i'll do it" he swpied at the enemy

A wolf head with bunny ears peaked up out of behind the table, when this body smashed into the wall next to her. Giving out a whining sound, she hid back down under the table. She arched an eyebrow at the dead creature on the floor next to her. Taking several heavy breaths, the bunny wolf leaped up on the table and growled wildly. To fight these, there was something more than just a wolf needed.

Closing her eyes, the lady wolf started growing in size. Her previously gray fur was switching color too orange. Black stripes formed on her slowly and she was now a full grown tigress. She gave out a roar, as she slammed one of the infested ones with her paw and the infested was thrown along the floor. Something itched on her head, as it turned out the bunny ears still were there. She gave out a whine, before letting it slip her mind. She threw herself upon another infested with a powerful leap. No biting, though. She was vegetarian. Instead, she smashed the foe with her paws.

Suddenly, in a big flash of light, one of the skinnier afflicted creatures began floating off the ground and casted a powerful spell, which made everyone else besides the afflicted feel like the inside of their head was burning to a crisp.

Shiro watched the fight continue from the Mists. "These people are stronger than I thought...Too strong..I might have to end this struggle."

Marie-Lee fell to the ground, whining. Why the sudden pain? It felt like her head was about to implode any moment now, as she laid down on the ground and giving out heavy breathing. Her powers freaked and the previous tigress turned into a little bunny. Still crawling along the ground, she could not gather the strength of rising.

What was it that just happened, was the question reapearing in her mind. The little part of her mind that could think, due all the mental noise and pain. "All in your head, Marie-Lee. All in your head. All in your head" She thought to herself, knowing this was nothing but evil magic. She remembered the look that the wolf had on her before and decided that being on the ground in the shape of a rabbit was not a great idea.
Using most of her strength, she bounced up on top of a table and took cover behind a plate. For some reason, she was now uncapable of switching away from the bunny form. Must have been the horrible pain that caused it. It caused her to loose focus.

Zuke watched several people in his enviourment falling to the ground, holding their heads.. He was not sure what was happening at this state, but for some reason, he was not effected.. If it was dark magic or spiritual, he probably resisted major parts of it..
As he walked towards the larger "infested" one, he stopped.. He could see how that new friend of his had become cornered, and he made the choice of doing his best to be of assistance.. He launched his chain, which wrapped around one of those attempting to attack the wolf and the fox.. "Not today, you wont!" He roared, spinning the man in air with his chain, releasing him and making him smash right into another one of the attackers..

He saw how the reaper had communication with the wolf friend of his, and as his normal problem, he did not think much.. "Step away from the wolf!" He said, smashing the chain into the ground, walking towards the fox.. On his way over, an attacker leaped upon him but recieved a powerful punch, falling to the ground unconcious.. The reaper or fox was probably the highest threat around, and he would not let it hurt his new friend.. The normal human beings barely tickled Zuke with their attacks..

Kyva had fallen to her knees now, gripping her ears. Groaning with pain she doubled over. She mumbled something inaudible, and bti down on her lip. A soft trickle of blood could be noted runnign down her chin. What was this? She kept her ehad low and whipered, changing to her wolf form.

Shiro laughed heartily "I knew it. Mind Burn always works on even the most skilled fighters. Except for the one. The one with the chain. He's an interesting fellow."

The one that charged forward carried a hammer and was smashed into one of the skinnier ones, both of their souls imploding on contact. That was two down, only about 8 more to go.

Kyva growled and made a feeble attempt once more. She crawled across the ground, bared her fangs, and snapped at
shiro's ankles. Her teeth set in an she snarled viciously, tearing at the thick flesh of his lower calf.

"Bring me your best!" Zuke roared "If I can bring down Archangel Lieutenants, some minor zombie guys should be no problem!" He said, smashing his fist into one of the attackers.. He held his arm extended for a moment, looking around in the room.. He was not going to let his new friend get hurt, and he could see the tormention she was put trough with that mindspell or whatever it was.. Zuke started walking in the direction of Kyva.. Maybe if he took her outside the inn, it would help some.. During his walk over there, he got smashed in the back by a hammer "Argh!" He mumbled, before turning around and slamming the infested to the ground.. This was what happened.. Zuke was confused.. Caring about someone, and fighting at the same time did not belong together..

Kyva's head shot up. Another low growl erupted form her throat as she heard Zuke let out a painful cry. She felt quite indebted to him, as he really had helped her earlier...he was so kind too. Dragging her self from the ground she closed her eyes, quietly chanting that this was all an illusion, nothign was really going to hurt her.

Her eyes took on a pale blue glow as she bolted forward, latching onto the neck of another infested bar tender waiting behind Zuke. She took quite a blow but managed to never mind it as her sharp canines subsided into the things neck. She growled and dug her teethe in farther, flinching as another one of the things atatcked her.

She took her human aspect and swirled the barbed , thin chain to her left, then right, slicing the second persuer.

Shiro winced and stood up from his meditation. "Enough is enough!" Then he raised one of his swords and everyone inside the Inn suddenly died. Then he disappeared and drifted off towards an abandoned monastery nearby. He needed information.

A shadow appeared where Shiro stood before. Another Envoy. It looked around the room at the bodies. "He's at it again. Shirking his responsibility as an Envoy. We gave him the privilege to become an Envoy again and he throws it away."

The envoy cast a different spell that ressurected everyone except for the Afflicted. "We are the Envoy's to the next world. The shepards that guide the newly dead to their afterlife in the Mists. We were sent to show you the way into the Mists." The Envoy disappeared and another appeared in it's place. "But it is not your time. You will not die today."

Another one appeared. "We give to you your departed spirits. We give back to you the gift of life. But it comes with a price. You must help us defeat Shiro."

The first one reappeared. "Envoys can hife themselves from mortal view. You must become Weh no Su, Closer to the Stars. Only then will you be able to combat Shiro. We will be watching your progress." Then all the envoy's disappeared.

Marie-Lee raised her bunny ears, listening to nothing. The bar had turned quiet. Her head had stopped hurting and she catched the courage to open her eyes. She looked around the room, stunned for a moment. All the infested ones was dead on the ground and the only one standing steady was Zuke. Kyva was standing too, a bit unstable. She sat quiet for a moment. She attempted to change from her bunny form into human, but her powers were still under shock. "You killed them all?" She asked, looking at Kyva and Zuke who stood in the center of the room. She did not know what to say, as she bounced down from the table and up to the two figthers, looking at them with a curious look. She had her eyes closed trough most of the time, unaware how everything ended.
