Unless it was Demnos, Rex, then no you don't.

Melkor, yes, the Administrator is a Tarkin type. Though in the same way you play Captains and not Admirals, the MoAdministrator is important but not Tarkin important.

So I could be a Moff since Tarkin was a Grand Moff?

And why is Gallador hated? He needs love. 😎

Being an Imperial means we get to wipe out the Osokans. Of COURSE the Dark Siders would want to be Imperials 😛
Yes plus we could kill the interviewers on Newhaven

Actually, they'd be the Imperials... 😬

And Gallador's hated because he's one of the more thoughtful people, like Takuan or Saar. Galder likes Takuan, though, since they were a good team on Malastare... 😛

As 'Moff' has a military connotation and the Administrator is considered to be more of a politician, he gets the rank 'Commissar'.

Hey Ush what if I wanted to play a Storm Trooper Commander basically a General.

Ok, interesting question.

First, there is an Imperial General. That is a Veers-like figure, though, not a stormtrooper.

However, the final template- currently under construction- is the Imperial Commander, who is intended to be a front line fighter. it is fuzzy about whether he actually is a stormtrooper- with all the 'being a low-willpower clone' stuff that would result from that- but he wears the armour and goes in with the troops.

Woohoo Commissar! 😄

What is the place of Commisar in Empire hierarchy?

Sounds interesting

Commissar sounds like a political Moff to me, Melkor.

Like all Commissar ranks in history, a Commissar's literal place in the chain of command is fuzzy. Acting as a representative of the Emperor, a Commissar has little power but lots of authority. He is a political entity but responsible for overseeing military operations. No-one wants to disobey him because to disobery him is to disobey the Emperor... but not being of Tarkin power, the Administrator can only go so far, especially with other well-connected people.

I thought that Moff was a Governor of Space Sector, not a military title. I am confused.

It has often been interpreted as being form of super-Admiral, especially with some Thrawn storylines. So it is being kept clear of.

Likely, I'd keep with a Geonosian character for the Rebellion.

So Commisar responds directly to the Emperor? I like it.

Does overseeing military operations also mean eliminating political opposition and looking for traitors to the Empire and the like?

Isn't Darth Vader the ultimate Commisar?

Yes, yes and yes. Though Tarkin outdid Vader.

In a military sense, anyway... 😗

Do they have similar positions in the Rebellion?

Wow, I am going to love this game. If there is a place for only one Administrator , I am officially reserving it.

Post the templates as quickly as possible, even if those are beta versions. I feel my anticipation growing.

Hell no, the Rebellion isn't that paranoid!

Rebel types come in two varieties- the fighters and the talkers. Their political types are Senators and good guy nobles.
