Maybe they're getting ready for the 'big one'. I laughed at one of the national news channels last night. They were saying that a section of California's San Andreas Fault was LONG overdue for a major quake. Now some geologists' study claims that it will let loose a magnitude 8 quake any time now. I guess they should start printing out the "Island of Los Angeles" merchandise. I mean, yeah, one day there will probably be a disaster there, but saying it could be 'any minute', when you're talking on a geologic scale, is just silly.
Our crew is very much in the summer mode. This involves living at the beach and partying like it's 2999 and the Y3K bug is coming.
But yeah, we live on higher ground, if a earthquake hit we would get a major shakedown, but our buildings are designed to withstand most big earthquakes...but te tidal wave won't hit us. 🥷
But I'll do some kicking.
