To be honest, I always disliked the power inflation in EU, it makes the abilities shown in movies pretty disappointing.

Does this Richard the Warlock stuff in here mean that, for once, I corrupted you guys into something? 😛

Though, I did get Lana hooked on Questionable Content for a little bit.

Still working on getting her into Metroid, though.

The problem is you can't understand Metroid until you play it. ermm

I sprung that joke on the Rebels ages ago; finally a pay off for Imperials too.

Trivia point- this is a re-make of an idea that was originally going to be used in the huge Jedi/droid battle. One of the Jedi players- wbo left before the battle started so this never occurred- had Ties to Naboo and planned to call in military aid. Expecting some Naboo Captains and such to turn up, the joke was going to be when a Gungan captain turned up to join the fight instead, complete with warriors.

I re-used the concept for this game when Sasha, using Ties to get weapons from her Homeworld, expected normal weaponry and got a load of Gungan stuff instead.

Aside from the humour value I felt there was lotgic to both of these circumstances. Gungans are a little annoying but most were not like Jar-Jar. So there were two principles here- first I wanted to reflect the point that Naboo and Gungan had started to work together after TPM, and secondly... the Naboo are artists and craftspeople. The Gungans are clearly portrayed as fighters. When you asked for military aid I wanted to reflect that.
