Well, at least it's not something serious. I was afraid Ush finally burnt out on RP'ing online. And I wouldn't blame him, but this (online play) is my only source or RP'ing. As long as there is an RP somwhere, that's ok. Might you have another game system to play here in the meantime? Or at Under-the-Gun? Not trying to sound greedy or demanding, but I like the variety.

Well, right now there's Techno and Prince of Persia active on UTG...
(my only source is online as well and frankly, Ush's games are the best I've seen in my trawling of the internet so yeah...)

Ah, so I'm not the only one. I've tried to start something locally, but it's a small community and no-one seems interested enough to show up once to try it out. I played Star wars many years ago here, but that group only lasted a few months, and several of them have moved now. My brother tried to get DandD going but that didn't last much longer. So I really appreciate what you are doing here Ushgarak. And to mirror what Lana said, I've seen some of the other RPG's available online and ... no thanks.
Oh, there are serious RPG games on site www.rpg.net, but most of them requires familarity with the system. I played a bit Warhammer there, but both games died.

There's also the fact that the entire reason I even stayed on KMC to begin with was because of the RPs. That says a lot right there as contrary to how it seems, I'm not actually much of a message board person.

Serious and quality are not necessarily the same thing. That's the problem. I would guess that if one could sample all of the RP content online it would show that there is a uniqueness here. I would be surprised if the quality of story, ammount of dedicated players, and an outstanding GM to support it and hold it all together for all these years exists anywhere else. If somone lept track of such things, this is probably the longest running RP group that has posted almost daily for so many years.
Cast members have come and gone, but to my understanding there are still a few original players. Many of the current ones have been playing at least three years, 'cause that's how long I've been around. No, I'd really be surprised to find anything else just like what we have here on the net.

To prove a point on what you're saying.
When the first Matrix game (the thing that kept me posting on here originally) ended, we were all very impatient about a possible second game. When, almost 2 full years later, it was confirmed that it was going to be ready very soon, just about every single person who played before reappeared, completely ready to go.
Second...well, just look at how we all reacted when all Ush said was "There's no PT".
