Nice sig Yerss. I'm trying to figure out how to make my lightsaber blades look like that. Then I wouldn't pester Dim and others wouldn't as well. Poor Dimster...

well...it takes two words to say.
Continuing the saber handle you:
draw a white line(select width) -> go to layer ->layer style ->outer glow (color, intensity..spread..bla bla...).
Adn then you merge it all and put a lens flare where the blade binds with the handle.(again intensity, type...bla..bla)

Sadly me and Rex have Image Composer. I'm not sure it's exactly the same thing.

That's for adobe photoshop 7.0 (works in other versions also, ofcourse)
I'm sure you can do a blade in other sftwares too, though.
