Just some positive news.

I cannot give any dates, so don't ask, but alpha testing on the new Star Wars system (codenamed 'Lego'😉 should start very soon.

In fact it would have started on Sunday but we played the Starcraft boardgame instead.

Alpha testing is NOT play-testing. btw. It is entirely 'in-house' as it were.

Hurrah!

Incidentally I am going to have a very heavy input on the splat design (i.e. templates)

Much has changed since the old system coalesced together, layer by layer, and I will be looking at this from a fresh perspective. Though the basic structure of Adventurer/Swordsman/Acolye/Master remains (for thise who do not know... or perhaps it never was true around here... that was th starting four), everything else is up in the air, and precisely what those four templates do, practically, is not fixed.

So I do apologise but some people may have to template change as appropriate.

As long as Galder is still crazy-go-bonkers with lightsabers and his fists, all is well.

Should we be expecting one of the endgame notes of what we did right/wrong and what happened in the OT game?

Same for Dak. As long as Dak remains fast and slashy with his sabers, I'm happy.

As long as Gallador retains the corruption power, he didn`t have a chance to use it yet, mostly due to the unreasonable attitude of other players.

i join?

I think that next game may be opened to new players, but it will take some time before it is ready.

By the way, we have hints about next PT episode, including trailers, but we know nothing about next OT Episode, besides the fact that it may be more rough for Imperials...

Well, Ush did say the next OT would be a far more favorable situation for the Rebels...

I assume that it means Imperials being on defensive and Rebels being the ones behind the plot.

Thirding that one. Rianna's definitely got to remain an insane saber nut.

And yay! And also hehe Lego. I'm playing Lego Star Wars Original Trilogy with my little siblings right now 😄

Well Xavier can not break of the Brigade so he fourths it 😄

No details available about OT I am afraid.

Force powers are in flux but talking of the special Dark Side ones- a definitive difference is now being drawn between Foresight and manifest Destinyy.

Foresight will help you win the game. On the Light Side this will almost certainly be a power to help the team, on the Dark Side it will likely show how YOU can win, but as that makes it a won game it does, broadly, benefit you all.

Manifest Destinty will now reveal something you can do, in game, to increase your own power, irrelevant to the plot. if you meet the requirements of Manifest Destiny that it shows to you... you will gain bonus xp.

Interesting...and still you choose only one?

I still want my character to be specializied in Dark Side power, he had the biggest number of these of all characters...and it was almost driving him insane.

So, there will be opportunities to increase personal power, plot-wise?

Hopefully.

And yes, only one prediction power per story, though they will be more reliable.

Yes, in epic games it sucks when you use one of your major powers and there is no result. Will you be seeking some input from us, ala Prince of Persia?

Much later in the process then I imagine so. I involved you guys rather early in PoP.

Seems we'll be losing the Athlete-based templates, then?

Bit early for conclusions yet.

Happy New Years to all! Thus begins another year for roleplaying...
