I've been considering it, since there seems to have been a lot of new people showing up in this section.
Jovan, the Retrospection threads are games looking back at the backgrounds of characters that are from the games run by Ushgarak, which have been active since 2000 up until this point. He's currently writing more, and I'm just filling in.
I have to tell you, my games are not terribly difficult once you start play, though the character creation process might scare you a little. As might the numbers. They are not free-form, after all.
And to answer the question that you posted in my thread, Darkxbox, there was never an opportunity to join the Retrospection games.
I understand that; you don't wanna get players that just stop after a few days... first get a feel of the dude and see he really wants to participate. In the mean time I can try and follow the stuff here.

And it's incredibly rude to post in another person's game thread like that...

The only way you get into the Retrospection games is by already being a player in Ush's games. And it's incredibly rude to post in another person's game thread like that...
i don't see how but just in case, sorry. i mostly play in unhosted so i'm used to being able to ask questions openly.

What Lana said was directed at Darkxbox, not you, Jovan. No worries! 🙂I suppose I will get working on something for everyone to play, then.
ok, thx
Hosted games are, in my opinion, far more formalized and organized than unhosted/free-form games, so it is almost entirely uncommon for people to blunder in and ask if they can play when they have little knowledge of the game itself, no offense.
I must warn you, hosted and unhosted games are entirely different.

Well, there's a difference between asking questions and interrupting what is essentially a private thread.
There's a general discussion thread (this one), it was already stated the Retrospection games are private and closed...so how on earth could it be anything but rude to go posting in one of the threads?
And yup, agreed with Rex, we're far more formal and organized here than Unhosted.
