RP General Discussion

That's why I was giggling. Did everyone else forget the Christmas thread already? 😛

I believe I mentioned it to you first.

Random question- last campaign, at Zeiton, Kuylen blew up the only ship we had for getting off of the rock. Was this a reference to Cortes sinking his own ships to encourage his men to conquer Mexico in 1519?

It is a more general historical context than that; the Vikings did a similar thing.

How skilled would you say the combatants in Gallagher's flashback were with their lightsabers?

Korth is better than his opponents.

Oh, it seemed that Sienar suceeded in his plan, as Mandragos Commision was still important at the times of the Lanzar inavsion....

The discretionary commission that controls all emergency spending in the Galaxy? Oh for sure that one is still going decades later...

Oh yes, I see how does such things fit in Empire..... If course, with such Senators like Sartorus within the Commision, I am sure it does its best to help those in need....😉

By the way, are there any plans for continuing the OT game?

Indeed, the likes of Sartorus wield enormous influence. Their word can save or condemn millions.

Before the dissolution of the Senate the Emperor needs to get many of his decisions voted in. But in emrgency areas... all he needs to do is have the right people on the Commission. It already has emergency power invested in it from the Old Republic days...

As for the OT game- in theory, but we'll see.

I have a feeling that that is not all of Sienar's plan. It would be harsh to assume that the Jedi would fail (even though they aren't doing spectacularly in their efforts).

Sienar has given his speech.

Well, my character would like to get Andran after all. It was weird that apparently a correct way was to break into his ship for evidence, which would seem as quite unsubtle way to deal with such an influential and smart opponent. And how I got frustrated almost entire game that I don`t have access to Lodge Captains that could perhaps be easier to deal with than Drakkon himself....only to discover that one of them would try to kill poor Commisar on first sight...

Breaking in was one of seevral options; the point really was that you had access to sneaky types. If you wanted to take the risk of using them so, the option was there.

Eh, should've been expected. Drakkon was only willing to be diplomatic because he was their leader. The others were a bunch of savages...

How did it go in offline game, I wonder?

Well, to stop Commision from voting for peace treary, I would have to convince both Sartorus and Ardonel to help, which was highly unlikely with the latter. Maybe if the information about raptor egg smuggling was uncovered earlier, and that Justice pit stuff.

Offline of which game?

OT game. I remember we never got a post game comments for this.
