Yeah, you definitely had your cooker set too high if that happened.

Melt the...melty thing, let it cool enough that it's not really molten but still hot, put the pan on top of that.

Or you could heat up a rock with the lightsaber enough to make it red hot but not completely molten.

Thanks for the compliments, all. I just like to paint stuff. Done lots of minatures through the years. This is my first real custom fig, though it wasn't real complicated. Just gave Qui-gon a haircut and glued his head on a Count Dooku.

I'd like to make all of us, but I got rid of most of my figs a while back. I asked my boys if they wanted them, and they said no, so I sold them to a kid next door... Wish I'd thought of customizing them into our characters before I did that. I am already working on a Gallagher, though. Maybe a Seinar next, one where you won't see his face maybe. Oh, and I think I can pull off a Xeth w/ a Big Gun and removable leg. I'd like a Kyle Ragnor and Eerin as well, but don't think I have the right figs yet.

If anyone actually wants one of their characters, OT or PT, let me know; we can work something out. I'll warn you though, they're usually no longer poseable when I'm done.

Or perhaps just use it as a fancy lighter and cook on a fire.

The bacon cooking discussion has a funny scene playing in my head: I can see Glader trying again and again to get the bacon-frying just right, carelully lowering the saber to just touch the bacon in the pan, but every time there's a hiss and a pop and the bacon vaporizes. Grrr...... But the bacon smoke sure smells good.

That's kinda awesome. I've never really done anything of that sort before...

...however, when I decided I wanted to learn how to make my own plushie dolls, my experiment in figuring out exactly what to do was Rianna. Though I never got around to making her cloak. And I couldn't find the right shade of purple for the lightsaber and forgot to get grey for the hilt. Oh well. Still pretty awesome (and geektastic) 😛

That's pretty cool, Peach. I never thought of a Jedi plushie. I' wanted to do a Rianna or Rylis, but I don't have any female bodies to goo off of. I do have a yoda I'm considering trying to convert to female for Vera-kin. Just have to work on my boobie-sculpting skills. Of course, I hadn't considered it before now, but maybe VK is flat-chested, hmmm?

And GK, isn't there some Dak artwork other than the headshot in your sig floating around somewhere? You've got me curious now, to see if I could come up with something.

Rianna's the only plushie I've done so far - it was pretty much just an experiment to see if I could make one. Certainly learned a lot with making that though, so I'm sure I could easily make more. I know I've been asked for a Dak one 😂

And heh, that sucks, since I'd love to see a little Rianna or Rylis figure. That'd be so awesome. Especially as I've got a ton of Rianna artwork for references, and some stuff (not as much though) for Rylis.
