I've been pretty caught up lately as well, btw, and furthermore I am pacing the games as off-line play has ceased for the time being. I'd rather not have too huge a gap with no play at all.

Wait, maybe, if during the disorientation you just PICK a direction where you think the floor should be. Just be like, the floor should be THAT way. And then just commit.
