Good to hear Ush. Last I read Denzral was waiting by the train, but a few things have happened since then, is there any point in me coming back and reprising my character for this game now?
They were including you in the planning for the prison break that's going on but you disappeared again. Might want to consider if you have time to commit or not? 😬
That sounds lethal, Lana.
Originally posted by REXXXXI could say right now that yes I would have time to commit to the RP, but I don't know what is happening two months down the line at the moment.

Whilst Galder is getting misty-eyed about his old boss, this gives me a prompting to talk about some of Kuylen's character development.
Kuylen was developed back in 1999 before we had any ideas about Episodes II and III (hence the irritating cultural overlap with Dooku) and whilst I am not saying this was some sort of amazingly deep process- he was a combination of two Doctor Who characters and the plot of the film 'The Duellists'- there was a conscious effort not to just make him an evil sorcerer type. Both Vader and the Emperor had done that (though we subsequently explored variants of it with Sienar and Adelmo) and my brother wanted something different. Obviously, lacking the force as a trump card he needed to be a deadly swordsman to be a personal threat one to one, but he wasn't meant to be a Maul-style thug. So beyond that there was this very conscious idea that Kuylen had to have been a very good Jedi. See, I never got the impression from Vader that he had been much of a Jedi, as all he does is bully and fight; he's rarely showing much brainpower (ok, a tracking device in ANH, but that's about it). Little did I know, of course, that I was more right than I thought, as Anakin was pretty crappy as a Jedi in episodes II and III.
But from that need was born the traits Kuylen uses to make him truly a galactic-level threat. He's brave, determined, highly skilled and exceptionally resourceful. These were the traits that it seemed a Jedi would need, and then you just couple that with "What would these traits be like if applied to the Dark Side?"
So there he is.

Yes, at times, with consultation. He also wrote the Golden Serpent storyline exclusively for the online game, which I believe is still considered the height for Dark Side stories.
The Ghost Citadel is going to forever be that game. The one that gets an instant reaction from all of us that played it.
I am interested Ush. I will, however, need to be caught up on what's happened some...I'm sure my fellow Jedi will be happy to bring me up to speed. Every time I try to catch myself up I realize that I don't really know what I'm reading, and even simple plot developments can take pages and pages, as we know.
