No, it was because he was a Jedi.

Right. I guess I was wondering if that rule of no Jedi inheriting the title was connected at all. But I guess there was a precedent for it.

No- although the Charnals have a history of conflict with the Sith, the Jedi wariness is more about it being a clash of traditions. Jedi have to be loyal to the Order; Charnals believe the Boyar are born to be loyal to the rest of the Boyar.

Heads up for LOTR players- get going! I have reason to push that game now.

Actually I am having general difficulties with time for stuff, what with essays etc but I do hope to get more control of things in the near future.

I hear you on the time constraints... I've got two tests today and just finished writing a paper.

In the NJO game I think I may just be a part of the Jedi.

I've been interviewing people at work. It is surprisingly nerve-wracking. Not my favorite thing to do.

But you get to be the boss! Yay slaves!

Slaves are fun! Hire more of them!

I enjoy not having to hire or grade or write anything 😛

It's helpful if slaves aren't morons, though. So far no one's meeting that qualification.
