i havn't gotten into the beta yet i should get in around mid march but i'm planning on this

personality: used to be held in until wife and children were murdered now dark and can relclusive when asked about family but very outgoing otherwise

origin: Silverwing used to be a humble orinthologist with a wife and three children. Until one day he was driving home from work and heard on the radio his neighborhood was being attacked by the dreaded gang freakshow. Speeding home as fast as he could he got there just in time to see his wife and children murdered in front of his eyes. Filled with rage and took a piece of pipe and sprang at the murderers. Remarkably he beat back the three of them only to be stopped by the police from killing them. Tearing his body into shape he used the habits and instincts of the winged creatures he loved to create a new fighting style. Donning the garb of Silverwing he swore to do whatever was in his power to protect the innocent people of paragon city.

well there he is so far i'm only going to have one character

there he is but i'm gonna make other characters also you can have up to 8 characters per disc i believe but that was my resume for teams i got a couple offers but i decided to go solo for awhile

I have a character, but I'm not posting it so no one can steal it.

i know what ya mean my first character was going to be silverwing but someone stole it and got me freakin ticked off

1) What’s in it for me if I Pre-order City of Heroes?
We’ve gone to great lengths to “reward” gamers who reserve City of Heroes. Here’s a quick list of all the perks:

GUARANTEED entry to BETA
A head start on the Production Servers early! All Pre-order customers will get to jump in the weekend before Launch!
Cool concept art, e-comic, screen shots and trailer on the limited-run pre-order bonus disc.
Receive a special “Sprint Prestige Power” (type varies by retailer)
Reserve a Character Name for Launch! (see details below)
Most importantly-You don’t want to miss out on the most novel, exciting experience to hit the MMORPG market.
2) I want to get into the beta-what can I do to increase my chances of being invited?
The only way to GUARANTEE entry into the Beta is to reserve a copy of the game and receive a free Pre-order bonus disc (this typically requires $10 down payment, but is subject to variation based on the specific retailer)

3) How soon will Pre-order customers be invited to the Beta?
Starting March 22nd we will be randomly adding Pre-order customers by the thousands. All customers are guaranteed entry to Beta by April 7th.

4) Are there other ways to receive a Beta invite?
Absolutely. We’ll be hosting a Public Beta Sign-up within the next couple of weeks. Also, keep any eye out on all the major online gaming sites as they will be hosting Beta account contests and giveaways. However, the majority of the people to be added to the Beta between now and launch will be pulled from the pre-order registration pool.

5) How does the character name reservation system work?

To reserve a Character Name for Launch, a player must have participated in the Beta.
The Character Name in the first slot of the in-game “character selection screen” will be reserved.
These names will only be reserved for two weeks after launch, at which time the reserved name lists will no longer be valid.
6) Will I be able to use my Beta Character in release?
We will be wiping the Beta databases before launch. However, ONLY Pre-order customers will be given a 3-day head start on the production servers.

7) A Re-cap of Dates to Know:

March 22nd – Begin Adding Pre-order Customers to Beta
March 29th – Host Public Beta Sign-up
April 7th – All Pre-Order Customers Invited to Beta
April 14th – Randomly Selected Public Beta Invites Sent Out
April 22nd – Beta shutdown to prepare for Launch
April 25th – 3-Day Pre-order only Head Start
April 28th – Launch!

alright there it is lets get ready to play hero

If i do get this game I have a cool name im almost positive I will have first choice of yousing. but costume reserve? shouldnt you be able to create yer own?

you do you create your costume all these facts are about when you get in the beta and when the game will launch

actually this game has one of the biggest costume creation systems EVER

that sounds good,.....hate to sound all unimformed but this is for PC right? and will there be a monthly cost?

yep pc and yep there will be a cost it will probably be 15$ a month

plz water all da way! Blue eyes, hair, skin, etc...and of course can control any liquid and can create water yet ya no they never have stuff like this

i still havent even figuerd out witch origin im gonna go with, let alone power! lol

well you can have 8 characters per server so it doesn't matter to much though your origins don't matter much except for costumes while your archetype decides what your character can have power wise i'm gonna have my main character a natural/scrapper and i still havn't decided if i'm gonna make a tanker yet

well the big guys only seem fun if you can make a genuine hulk or juggernuat type guy. I mean not the actual hulk but somebody with at least similar strength. or it would be rad if you could have the "unstopable" thing like Juggy

but 8 server's. like 8 people at a time?

One of the powers is invulnerability.

now like if u make a water hero (like me 🙂 ) can u ahve like electricity and lightning make him stronger like add some shock to his pwr?

well ya see that's one of the fun things about it if you make a huge man like that you can make him anything still like he doesn't have to be a juggernaut like that he could be a blaster or a scrapper or even a defender 😛

and gambitddr check out the website at www.cityofheroes.com and sorry but there is no water power set there is electricity, fire, storm summoning, claws like wolverines, ice powers, gravity powers to just name a couple trust me when i say that there are a WHOLE lot more

have you seen the screen's with the bubble text sorta like straight out of a comic? im not sure if they were edited but it would be great if thats how you actually communicate

well that is how its gonna work with talkin yea its almost just like a comic book 😎 did you see that from ign.com that's where i saw that but yea there are alot of powers (no capes though) but there isn't a pvp system either but that is coming in the first update

yea i know hat you mean ddr i wanted to be a elemental man too sorta a hydro man or sandman but they couldn't have everything 🙁

BUT they have teleporting it seems they followed the xmen most of all i mean wolverine claws then teleporting and ice powers and storm summoning and super speed i mean that's alot of the xmen

yeah xactly i mean i cant do an elemental cept 4 borin usual fire and ice...so i might just make an xmen person like jean grey or something
