Tanon, the bridge isn't just a single straight corridor. It has two levels, a bit like the bridge of a Star Destroyer in that aspect. The top level is esesentially just a rectangle of catwalk-like things with the room marked "unknown" at the South part, or whatever you want to call it. There are four doors--one from the conference room, one from the corridor winding around the back (the main enterance, it appears), and two in the "South East" corner. The room you're trying to get into is closest to these two doors. However, that is somewhat irrelevant, seeing as you're probably going to kill everyone in there anyways. So I guess what I'm getting at here is that you most likely aren't going to end up shooting each other.
