It really doesn't look like much. It's a large, dark gray steel dome, perhaps some 150 feet high. At regular intervals, panels have been welded together, as is to be expected for a structure this size. There is a single, thick metal tube running from the ground to the top that is flush to the dome--the type that usually contains power cords. The control panel is unmarked, except for a small "Santhe/Sienar Industries" logo etched in the sheet of metal covering it.
"Not unless you have a hammer and a chisel," Xerdon replies, examining the nearly seamless construction.
You get most of the door off, however, due to your lack of force ability, you find it difficult to control your lightsaber. You, by no fault of your own, thrust the saber too deep into the box, effectively rendering the controls useless. Though, on closer inspection, there wasn't much to control anyways. A couple of power regulators and an on/off switch--which is in the off position. If this is indeed the tractor beam that was pulling you in, that would explain why you didn't have any trouble coming in this time.
That won't be of much use. All you'll see is a bunch of unidentifiable mechanical componants, more than likely. For now, you can only speculate as to what it is.
Hint: there is an Imperial EU ship that uses something very similar to this. I mentioned it when you were first being pulled down to the planet.
