Server Upgrade Problems?

We will be moving to a faster more powerful server later on tonight, due to the fact the current one is being overworked.

The first step will involve the forums being closed for around 15-30 minutes. Once the database has been transferred the location of the forums will change temporarily.

Don't worry, you will not have to do anything as everything will be automated, including the redirection to the new location.

If you experience any problems, or just want to ask a question about the server move, then you can do so here.

The physical server is moving from Houston to Dallas - still in Texas though. 😖

How many hours ahead is GMT if I'm EST? 😕 I don't know what GMT is, forgive my stupidity 😛

GMT is Greenwich Time, that from england yes,

EST is Eastern Time if I'm not mistaken that's -5 hours
