i tried that.. I made popcorn.. and then added sugar and it didnt taste right... Im missing something

check if there's a certain way to do it or a recipe or whatever ..just google it..

what does this mean by "syrup"

Sugar/butter popcorn.

melt 40 gr unsalted butter with either syrup or sugar to taste,add corn and shake pan gently untill evenly coated.

you dont know what syrup is ?..it's kind of like sugar in liquid form..

hmm and i'd rather use oil..then butter..but thats me..

must be the same type of syrup..but then im guessing the popcorn will taste all syrupy..so your best sticking to sugar..
